Garden Design & Build
If your garden isn’t working for you and you’re not sure where to start then you’ll need a design. The design process goes like this:
Consultation on how you use your garden, your likes and dislikes and any key features etc.
Getting everything measured up to recreate your garden on CAD software.
You receive your design back which will include 3D drawings to give you a good idea of how your new garden will feel and look, some alternative layout options if needed, a mood board of materials used in the design and a collage/list of plants that will feature in the garden.
Second consultation walking round the garden to discuss the design and walk through the different ideas. Decide on the final layout of the garden.
A final plan for the garden can now be produced with the necessary measurements and build details on.
A quotation for the building and planting of the garden can now be produced.

Landscaping & Smaller Projects
If you’re happy with your current garden layout and how it works for you, then you may just be wanting to add something extra, like a wildlife pond, update a seating area or add a path etc. If this is the case then I can just come and have a look and talk through the project with you and give you a free quotation.
We have a good knowledge of sustainable building practices, sourcing sustainable materials and reusing existing materials where possible. We also like to build with habitat in mind, weather it’s a drystone wall or log piles for amphibians and invertebrates or holes and surfaces for solitary bees, we know what will compliment the conditions of your garden and can advise on how to boost your gardens biodiversity.

Planting Design & Planting
I’m passionate about ecological planting which looks to nature as a guide to what planting will thrive and be sustainable in your garden. You can still guide the style, weather it’s formal, exotic, naturalistic or anything else. I will look at the growing conditions of your garden, like light levels, moisture levels, soil type, surrounding wildlife etc and design planting that will look great and thrive in your conditions.
To create the planting plan there will be a consultation in your garden to discuss style, colours, likes and dislikes and to look at the conditions. I will then create a bespoke list of plants that will be suitable for you. After your feedback on the plant list I can either create a plan for you to follow and do yourself or provide you with a quotation to source the plants and carry out the planting for you (this can include clearing any existing planting, removing green waste and improving soil if necessary).
